I gave the Canberra Glassworks' shop my first GYRE bowl. I have been fine tuning these bowls for many months, searching for the perfect balance between aesthetics and the technical demands that recycled glass creates.

The Canberra Glassworks' team is cleaning 3 chandeliers at the Italian Embassy Residency. As far as we know, this is the first time they have been cleaned since the installation in the late Nineteen seventies.

After a day or two working at the Italian Embassy (helping with the chandelier cleaning), I had inspiration. A collection of Renaissance portrait panels held my eye, and immediately I knew what I wanted to do. A Renaissance lady Mermay mashup!

I spent a whole week in another studio space! - At the glassworks shop at ANU (Australian National University). Visiting artist Norwood Viviano taught a 6-day workshop on 3D printing and glass casting. I had such a great time, though with little sleep, as I crammed learning the 3D software in the evenings.
