Toad Moon

With the Australian Fairy Tale Society conference next month with the theme of Witches I have been thinking around the subject. Like pointy hats and familiars.

Somehow that has turned into TOADS! lots of drawings of toads.

My first toad from memory was a monstrous thing but after a few studies I developed a short hand and enjoyed a couple of hours drawing magical toads.

The toads are drawn with alcohol markers (I really love the ones with a brush tip) and paint pens. Here are a few more toads from my sketch book.
