I've weighed and broken up a lot of glass this month. 20kg of Blue, pink and clear crystal, 15kg of steel blue made in the Canberra Glasswork's pot furnace and 6kg of scraps. Kilns have been busy! Tests have been moving in and out of kilns with varying success.

I cast a pumpkin for Louis, as I had a kiln to fill.

Sometimes the kiln you are waiting for isn't ready, so I have spent some of that waiting time, sorting and tidying.

I love some of the signs you come across at the Canberra Glassworks. HOT is a common one!
