My garden is acting like it is Spring. After such a harsh Summer, these unusual days of rain (for Canberra at least) has stirred the garden into action. Everything is blooming or regenerating. Some plants that I truly thought were dead are proving me wrong.
I've been taking advantage of the rain and thrown out all my old seeds in a haphazard manner, so the garden is a joyous muddle of blooms and sprouting things.
Here is an image based on some sketches for a never realised work. I had an idea to use Dryad silhouettes on a glass piece. After spending an afternoon sketching images of dancers the line work and the cast shape never quite fit together. Here are some of the sketches reinvigorated with a nature print.
