Not enough time to read?

When I'm very busy, like in a push to finish work for an exhibition, my reading habit suffers. To tide me over I find I prefer to go back to old favourites and re-read sections of stories. Dipping in and out of a favourite tale suppresses the ravening part of my mind, that keeps me up to 3am in the morning to finish a book.

I've been re-reading Foxmask & Wolfskin by Juliet Marillier. The Light Isles series feature two of my favourite folk lore motifs, Selkies and a bone harp / singing bone.

I would happily recommend these books to anyone with a love for folklore.

As it happens, on this re-read I had a wonderful idea for an artwork, thanks Juliet!
