Winter solstice weekend!

It is the Winter Solstice in Australia this weekend (Sunday) and it is a really busy one for me.

On Saturday the Canberra Glassworks has the 'Winter Glass Market' from 4-11pm and on Sunday I'll be up in Sydney, presenting at the Australian Fairy Tale Society Conference. Lucky for me, my partner is doing all the driving!

The Winter Glass Market is going to be huge, with so much going on. Come and say 'Hi' if you are wandering around the market. I'll be at one of the stalls selling my 'Winter Castle' keys. I also have a light on display 'Midnight grove' and I have put a small crystal seal sculpture in the lucky dip.

Free Entry/ Market Stalls/ Live Music/ Hot Glass/ Silent Auction/ Lucky Dip/ Winter Glow Garden/Make Your Own/ Hot Food/Cool Drinks/ Lucky Door Prizes and much more.

Unfortunately I won't be staying until the end for the live music, as we need to head up the highway to Sydney so I can get some sleep before the Australian Fairy Tale Conference set up bright and early Sunday morning.

I'm the last speaker of the conference before Sophie Masson's book launch. I'll be showing slides of my art work and talking about how integral the theme of 'Transformation' is to my interest in fairy tales and my artistic practice.
