I had a conversation in Italy about the Rabbit in the moon - We were staying in Puglia and the full moon was clear and golden. In Australia I think you can definitely see a rabbit but not so apparent in the Northern hemisphere. I was told that it was the Man in the moon. On my return to Australia I was glad to see that the Rabbit was back.
In August I left work in time to track down a good spot to watch the supermoon rise. Very large and very golden. As I walked back to the bus stop in the dusk a rabbit popped out in front of me and then scampered off.
A magical moment.
