Magical Plants - glowing herbs

While resting up (strained my lower back) I also read A Curse of Ash and Embers by Jo Spurrier which is a fun witchy, folksy, action packed magical read that I would recommend to fantasy readers.

You know THAT scene that comes up in many a fantasy novel? Where the wizard/witch/wise person/sorcerer's study or workspace is described? The list of strange objects that clutter up the room? Bottled, dried, stuffed, bound, transcribed.... Do you have a favourite scene?

Well, there was one of those in A Curse of Ash and Embers. This one was a fairly neat and ordered herbary with a few disturbing bottled specimens. That sparked an idea and I went plucking herbs in my garden to help create the mono-print and then I sat down and sketched the herbs and then a few bottles from my imagination. Which ended up being the Patron wallpapers for August.
