Today I zipped up to Sydney and back by coach. I caught the last few hours of Kirstie Rea's Still – like water exhibition at Sabbia Gallery. I love Kirstie's gentle, thoughtful pieces, her mastery of kiln-formed glass is amazing.
Áine: Midwinter Moon is in a themed group show called BLUEon display at the Corner Store Gallery in Orange. The drive from Canberra to Orange was beautiful, so much amazing countryside. BLUE is open until Sunday, August 26, 2018.
After a few false starts I finally got to the Art Gallery of NSW to see the 'The Lady and the Unicorn Tapestries'. The first attempt was delayed one weekend when I had a printing overload at office works pre AFTS conference and the next involved the car breaking down...
My exhibition at M16 is halfway through and this weekend is my turn to sit the gallery. A time in which I can be relaxed. The last few weeks have been extremely busy, what with the GLINT residency and getting ready for a show. Here are some shots of the works insitu.
