Autumn Equinox

This image is inspired by the Festival of Mabon. The Autumnal equinox is a celebration of harvest and abundance sharing the last lazy summer evenings with friends with food, drink and dancing.

I wanted to create a magical invitation to a wonderful celebration.

The source pose comes from a painting called Das Naschkaetzchen by Wilhelm Amberg, the translation is either the Sweet-tooth or the Guzzler.

The pattern on her skirt is inspired by an 18th-century designer, Anna Maria Garthwaite.
