The desk top wall paper I created for my Patron's for June 2019 is a collage of a print I made this time last year overlaid with some more recent sketches. One is from a past project and the other newborn idea has only emerged so far as a rough sketch. All 3 were scanned and opened in PhotoShop where I then fiddled and twiddled for a couple of hours. Yes time does fly when trying to decide which moon to highlight or darken, where to put the owl, creating shadows and creating more depth with digital scissors and glue.
The background image dictated placement of the figure and the owl. I really enjoy that these images created at different times can fit together yet direct me in how to form the composition.
